Natural Cycles Launches NC° Band, a Wearable Designed for Natural Cycles That Offers a Seamless Measuring Experience

Worn overnight on the wrist, NC° Band is a new wearable that replaces the Natural Cycles thermometer, making science-backed fertility tracking easier and more accessible.

Natural Cycles, the company behind NC° Birth Control – the first and only FDA-cleared birth control app on the market – today announced the launch of its new multi-purpose wearable, the NC° Band. Designed specifically to be worn on the wrist overnight, the NC° Band will replace the Natural Cycles thermometer in select markets.

Powered by the NC° Fertility algorithm, the Natural Cycles app analyzes hormone-driven temperature changes to confirm a user’s daily fertility status and deliver personalized cycle insights. With the launch of NC° Band, Natural Cycles offers a more effortless and cost-effective way for users to collect the biomarker data required by its algorithm. 

Worn only while sleeping on a user’s inner wrist, the NC° Band automatically detects when a user falls asleep and records continuous overnight temperature, heart rate, and movement — no manual measuring or all-day wear required. With up to 14 nights of battery life, NC° Band integrates seamlessly into users’ routines while keeping all measurement data securely stored within the Natural Cycles app.

This launch follows the debut of NC° Perimenopause, a new app mode released in October that helps decode hormonal changes during perimenopause. Together, NC° Band and NC° Perimenopause expand Natural Cycles’ mission to empower women throughout the different stages of their fertility journey with science-backed digital tools.
